Our mission is to provide a quality education through shared responsibility in a safe supportive environment for all students to meet the challenges of a global society.
We are “Committed to Excellence”, and we work hard to make the site a primary source for timely information for all users, and a main gateway for improved communication between parents, teachers, students and other members of our community.
Principal's Message:
I hope that everyone had a wonderful summer and is as eager to get back to school as we are! As the new principal this year, I am looking very much forward to meeting everyone and beginning a new journey with great students, parents, and teachers!
As always, we plan to focus on our attendance this year as much as possible. We need your children here every day, all day because we believe it matters! We completely understand doctor's appointments are important and children do get sick, and simply cannot make it to school. We encourage good attendance all year long because when they are here with us, we can ensure they are learning and being productive!
We have a few changes made by the RCS Board of Education that I would like to address as well. As stated in the student handbook folder, students will only be allowed to wear khaki or black bottoms. This is also true for jumper dresses – khaki or black only. Navy is no longer a color for our school. Please know that navy polos are not permitted for a shirt color. Additionally, students are not allowed to wear flip-flops for safety reasons. All sandals must have a back to secure the shoe.
