About Leonardtown Elementary School
Leonardtown Elementary emphasizes that a Passion for Learning and Respect are essential for the academic and personal success of our school community.
At LES in partnership with parents and community, we share the belief that all children can and will learn by empowering them to discover their strengths and maximum potential. Everyone is encouraged to strive for excellence-academically, emotionally, and socially.
Hello Families!
Leonardtown Elementary is a special place to learn and grow. Each of our talented teachers and staff takes the time to know each of our students and ensures that each child is being challenged and their individual needs are being met.
Each and every day students, teachers and staff are busy at work learning new things. We consistently challenge our students and each other in our learning to keep moving forward focusing on what lies ahead of us. As a school community, we consistently promote problem solving and a growth mindset for our students. By focusing on these goals, we will ensure that there are no obstacles to accessing educational opportunities for any student and we have supports that are designed to maximize the student’s academic success and social/emotional well-being. We have so much to be proud of at L.E.S.!
