About Legacy Elementary School
Principal's Message:
My name is Kirsten O'Hara and I am honored to be your principal at Legacy Elementary. I am a graduate of Loudoun County Public Schools and our son and daughter attend schools in Loudoun County.
My career in Loudoun County began at Farmwell Station Middle School teaching special education; then I moved to Sully Elementary where I taught second, third, and fifth grades. For the past fifteen years, I was the Assistant Principal at Round Hill Elementary. I look forward to an exciting year at Legacy Elementary!
My educational background includes a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration from Longwood College, a Master's of Education from Marymount University and an Education Specialist degree in School Administration from the University of Virginia.
At Legacy Elementary, our theme is Be... Our theme this year focuses on building our students both academically and socially to be the best they can be. As we continue to build our students' academic and social growth, we aspire to teach and facilitate their learning so that each student will be a successful graduate prepared for our world today. Relationships with staff, students and families are very important to me and I look forward to building those with all of you in the weeks and months to come. I truly believe that we must work together to maintain an environment where all children can be successful. As I look to the future, I pledge to work alongside you and our staff to build a strong legacy of engaged learners.
