About Glasgow Middle School
Vision Statement
"We are a community empowered by diversity, inspired by our success, and committed to lifelong learning."
Mission Statement
Glasgow's mission is to build a community of lifelong learners who are active, knowledgeable, and caring. Staff members teach young people as they prepare for the future by reaching new heights of academic achievement, growing in personal responsibility, and by making global connections, creating a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. Glasgow's work is grounded on the fundamental principles of holistic learning, the importance of all forms of communication (including foreign languages and the arts), and multicultural education. Innovative programs, personal and group interventions, and networks of parent and community support help students to succeed to their highest level of ability and prepare them for advanced high school studies-and beyond that, for college, careers, and the real world.
About PTSA:
The Glasgow Parents Group Listserv is one way that the PTA shares information with the community. By signing up, you will receive periodic emails from the PTA about happenings at Glasgow such as dates of PTA meetings and PTA sponsored or supported events and activities. The Listserv is also a forum for you to pose a question to PTA leaders or the school community, or to post items that you think would be of interest to the community.
