Principal's Message:
Dear Frederick Douglass Families,
It is with great pride and excitement that I say WELCOME to the 2019-2020 school year!
For the last 4 years, I have worked with staff and students and our Frederick Douglass community to make Frederick Douglass a great place to be. Prior to coming to Delaware, I was a principal in Charles County, Maryland.
One of our main focuses this year will continue to be the 3 R's which consists of:
Respect
Responsibility and the
Right to learn
My goal is for Frederick Douglass to be a first class school academically and behaviorally. My expectation will be that students, staff and families ALWAYS show the 3 R's.
About the PTSA:
The Frederick Douglass High School PTSA strives to provide support to activities at FDHS, provide a centralized volunteer source for school activities, sponsor participation in the National PTA Reflections Program, work with the Family Resource Center, staff, and Student Appreciation events, and so much more.
